The Ella Bed by Van Gogh Designs is a Canadian-made upholstered bed featuring a tall 49.5″ wingback headboard and a clean, tailored profile. The gently angled upholstered wings add depth to the headboard, while the simple upholstered rails and footboard give the Ella a contemporary look that works beautifully in both modern and transitional bedrooms.
The Ella is made to order and can be upholstered in hundreds of Van Gogh Designs fabrics. The headboard can also be ordered with or without buttons, giving you the option of adding subtle detailing or keeping the upholstery completely clean and uninterrupted.

Ella Bed Construction
The Ella uses a supportive metal frame and wood slat system beneath the mattress. King, Queen and Double sizes use a folding two-piece metal frame with wood slats, while the Single uses a one-piece metal frame with wood slats. Piping along the outside-facing edges of the wings adds a subtle tailored detail to the upholstered headboard.

The Ella’s upholstered wingback design gives you plenty of opportunity to personalize the finished bed. Choose from hundreds of Van Gogh Designs upholstery fabrics, including neutral textures, performance fabrics, chenilles, woven fabrics and a broad range of colours.
You can also choose whether you want the headboard with or without buttons. Buttons add a small amount of traditional upholstered detailing, while the button-free version creates an especially clean, contemporary appearance. The Mike wood legs are available in Unfinished, Light, Dark, Walnut and Black.
